About John Mills:
John Mills is currently the Chairman and majority shareholder in his own import-export and distribution company, John Mills Limited (JML), with trading relations with much of the world, especially Europe, the Far East and North America. JML was recently featured in the Sunday Times as being the fastest growing company in profitability terms in the retail sector and the tenth fastest in all sectors. John was a Labour councillor for the London Borough of Camden between 1971 and 2006, and has been Secretary of the Labour Euro-Safeguards Campaign since 1975 and the Labour Economic Policy Group since 1985. He has also been a committee member of the Economic Research Council for fourteen years and is currently the Vice-Chairman. John has written a number of books on the economy, including “Tackling Britain’s False Economy” (1997), “Europe’s Economic Dilemma” (1998) and “Managing the World Economy” (2000).
