What are the advantages of ERC membership?
Membership to the ERC provides you with a FREE ticket to each Ecomomic Research Council lecture/talk. Advanced booking on tickets. Access to recordings of previous talks. Members will receive paper copies of all publications, journals and meeting invites. Full free download access to the ERC online archives.
What types of ERC membership are availale?
There are two types of ERC membership Paper and Electronic. For more information on ERC membership click here.
Is it free to become a member of the ERC?
No. Membership to the ERC costs £70 per annum for Membership (Paper) and £50 per annum for Membership (Electronic). For more information on ERC membership click here.
How do I register to become a member of the Economic Research Council?
Visit the join the ERC page and fill out the Application Form. Once your application has been approved we will contact you via the email address you provided on the Application Form.
I have been approved as a member, what happens next?
Click the link in the email we sent you, and fill out the payment subscription via PayPal. Once this is completed click the link to return to the ERC website and set your password.
How do I access the members only content?
Login to the ERC website with your 'Email Address' and 'Password'. Once you are logged in to the website you will be able to browse and download the content free of charge.
I am a member, how do I login to the ERC website?
You can login in to the website using your 'Email Address' and 'Password' via the black bar at the top of the page. Alternatively you can click here.
I am not a member can I still book a ticket to an ERC event/talk?
Yes you can still purchase a ticket, however members will have priority booking, and tickets may not be available should an event sell-out.
I am not a member can I download a ERC research paper or publication?
Yes individual research papers and publications are available to purchase via PayPal.
I am not a member can I listen/download a recording of a previously held talk?
No. Recordings of previously held ERC talks/lectures are only available to members.
I would like to be able to attend an ERC talk/lecture, but it is too far away. Are they held anywhere other than London?
All ERC talks/lectures are held in London. From the end of 2010 we will be adding recordings of talks/lectures to the website for members. Membership would allow you to listen to the talk/lecture if you are unable to attend.
